REV. JEROME HARPER
A bit of background
JeRome is currently in his eighth year with the music ministry of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio TX, where he was also anointed with the title Reverend, in May of 2022 by his pastor Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Kemp.

JeRome submitted to the call to ministry through the National Association of Christian Ministers and was ordained as “Minister” in the Fall of 2015. Christ laid upon his heart the passion and fortitude to begin a support/recovery ministry called SOBERMIND for LIFE which is based on Walking the 12 Steps with Jesus Christ. This ministry is designed to help sufferers apply God’s divine plan of recovery, deliverance and transformation from substance abuse, alcohol abuse, and out-of-control habits as well as any other problematic and destructive behaviors.
JeRome has attended the Guadalupe School of Religion, also in SATX, where he studied Counseling, Comparative Religion, and Spiritual Formation and he is presently enrolled at Texas State University in pursuit of a BAAS focused on Addictions Counseling. He became a licensed intern through San Antonio College before working his first assignment at Treatment Associates of San Antonio Texas as a Chemical Dependency Counselor, and has since become a fully Licensed Addictions Therapist upon arrival at New Choices Treatment Center of San Antonio Texas in March of 2022.

“I am a born-again Christian, saved, forgiven, transformed and delivered. I faithfully and obediently follow the path that God has laid out for me in accordance with Jeremiah 29:11. As I continue to strengthen my relationship with Him on this journey in submission to His will and not my own, I will live my life by His example and bare witness in Jesus’s Name as a living testimony of all He has done in and for my life. I will continue thanking him for His mercy and grace and be in constant gratitude for having been gifted with His unconditional love and compassion; care and empathy; knowledge and wisdom; insight and vision, and sharp discernment.” MJH
